12.2. Null objects

Cases of "non specified" or optional objects (which may arguably be analysed at the lexical level) are not taken into account. Thus, the annotation does not include the NP-ACC position in sentences where a transitive verb is used as an intransitive (e.g. cantar, comer, fumar, ler, etc.) - in these cases, the object's content usually corresponds to a canonical or generic kind of object, in a way that is invariable across cultures.
