2.6. Genitive NP (NP-GEN)

Dative clitics (lhe, me, te, nos, vos) that express inalienable possession, kinship, friendship or professional relationship, locative objects, and more generally parts of a whole are annotated as NPs coindexed with an NP-GEN null category (*) in the final position of an NP (see Genitive clitics for details).

The label NP-GEN is also applied to resumptive possessive pronouns refering to left-dislocated phrases. In this case, the dash tag -RSP is added to NP-GEN.
